The starting point of the performance radical gesture is a simple question: How can a choreography take place in an exhibition context? Georgieva’s work deals with space, form, structure and walking. In radical gesture, she juxtaposes these parameters with the works of US artist Sheila Hicks. Through dance, she traces the materiality, but also the theatricality of Sheila Hicks’ expansive works.
