Coding Islands offers exhibition visitors an interactive, explorative insight into the world of live coding. Four islands are positioned in the Kunsthalle as part of the current exhibition. They stand freely in the space and are accessible to the public from all sides. The listening space is reduced to the immediate surroundings of each island. Like an exhibit, visitors can approach these islands and explore them. Four performances of 30 minutes each take place on each island. The variety of non-curated performances provides an insight into the international live coding community.
