In this workshop, participants have the opportunity to work together, under professional guidance, on an artistic book project. Beginning with a short, inspiring visit to the current exhibition at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the group will create their own paper works with Manuel Boden in the studio and prepare individual content for the second session.
The second day of the workshop will take place at the Mergemeier bookbindery. Here, the prepared sheets will be bound into a book using Japanese stitching. Finally, a title will be hand-stitched onto the cover. At the end, all participants hold a work of their own design in their hands.
