the pool is located in the former swimming pool of the Tersteegenstraße terrace house, which was designed in 1962 by Düsseldorf architect Paul Schneider von Esleben. The exhibition space is somewhat hidden behind the high-rise building, dug into the ground. The programme for 2026 is entitled “Frieden” (Peace).
Andrea Lehnert and Aljoscha are showing a joint installation that forces hope and war into a silent dialogue. Lehnert’s colour space designs address materiality and boundaries. Aljoscha’s bioisms seem like breath. The forms are light, almost invisible, and yet they demand comprehension.
