Together with illustrator and interior architect Janko Grode, Suitbertus Lake will become an open-air studio. This Urban Sketching workshop focuses on drawing on location: participants will explore the artworks around the lake, capture their impressions through drawing and develop their own visual language.
The workshop is open to everyone, and no previous experience is required. The emphasis is on the joy of drawing, experimenting together and learning practical techniques. Janko Grode will introduce different materials and share insights into his artistic process and working methods.
Please bring: Your own drawing materials, such as a waterproof fineliner, a sketchbook (A4 or A5) and watercolours. Participants are also welcome to bring whichever materials they most enjoy working with.
