With Tür Dur Alexander Pascal Forré has created a temporary link between the underground car park and the exhibition space of the Kunsthalle.
The wall in the car park is turned into a link between the two different spaces that, although they are located in the same building, are not directly accessible from each other. The deceptively realistic door Forré installed in the underground car park only seemingly provides a solution: The actual passage is an intercom with which people in the car park and in the Kunsthalle can communicate with each other.

Alexander Pascal Forré has been studying since 2010 at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne under Prof. Johannes Wohnseifer und Prof. Mischa Kuball.
