On our Padlet you will find creative ideas, tips and background information in German language on the current exhibition and on the Kunsthalle. You also have the opportunity to exhibit your artwork digitally.

The combined Instagram channel of the Kunsthalle and KIT KuKi informs you about all the educational programmes for children and families.

Public Tours

Every Sunday at 1:30 pm, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf offers a guided tour in German of the current exhibition. The tour is included in the admission price. For tours in English, please contact or 0211 5423 7710.

Curator Tours

The Kunsthalle Düsseldorf also regularly offers tours with curators. The dates can be found in our calendar.

Workshops for Children and Young People

As an exhibition venue with a regularly changing program, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf offers guided tours, courses, and workshops specially tailored to children and young people for all exhibitions. Young museum visitors can discover the various exhibitions and then creatively apply their impressions. The program is staffed by artists and experienced art educators.

Treffpunkt Kunsthalle

Treffpunkt Kunsthalle is an art education program by the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf in cooperation with the Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf aimed particularly at visitors over 50.

In addition to free tours of the exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and other cultural institutions in the city, including the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, various galleries, and other art venues, Treffpunkt Kunsthalle offers a look behind the scenes of the art business every last Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. Participants have the opportunity to talk to artists and curators and engage with various art forms.

Schools and Teachers

We offer thematic tours for school classes on all our temporary exhibitions. On request, tours can be supplemented with creative activities. The duration of the tours is 60 to 90 minutes. Instead of the regular admission fee, a fee of €2 per person will be charged for the tour. The costs for a workshop are based on personnel and material costs.

Informational events for teachers are offered for each temporary exhibition. During a tour of the exhibition, educational topics are discussed and ideas for their practical application are offered. You are welcome to contact us to make an appointment.

Tour & Talk

The intercultural thematic tours in German are aimed at non-native speakers and anyone else who is interested in attending, ages 16 and above. In addition to a dialogue about the artworks in each temporary exhibition, if desired by the group, this format can also spark a conversation about different lifestyles and cultural experiences. It thus offers participants space for a wide-ranging exchange.
